Here’s one from 2023 I caught at the very beginning of January as the market snapped back.
It’s a bit riskier trade than I like as the Stage 1 base hadn’t formed yet so there was no clear Stage 2 set…
But volume was massive and the market’s pulling everything up. Worked perfectly. Stop loss was tight at -$1000 total loss if needed. Luckily, I didn’t need to pull the parachute for a loss.

I went full-time trading in 2007. Quit my job and everything.
In 2004, at the bottom of the tech bubble burst, I dove headfirst into trading tech stocks, low-priced stocks, you name it.
Since it was at the bottom of the market, I rode the elevator up.
With $16,000 squirreled away from my auditing job, I turned that $16k into $50k within a year or so. Thinking I could do it all myself… in 2007, I went full-time and quickly saw my $50k go to negative-$15k.
I rebuilt my entire trading approach from scratch… and since then, I continue to trade full time as a trading professional. I’ve done this for 17 years with my own money.
Yes, there’s been days where I’ve made $50,000 in a day… then lost thousands on the next…
I’ve had million dollar positions in 2023 buying the bottom in companies.
Then, there’s $1,000 positions I exit in 2 hours.
